Sverdlovsk research group "Stalker" and the project "Our Urals" have compiled a top list the most mysterious places of the Ural region. The rating was made up of 2 terms: based on the votes received by us over the course of 3 months, and the frequency of mentioning such places in the media. Of course, not so much the most abnormal places as the most sensational, hyped in the media got on the short list. The three “leaders” were very obvious from the start. But the question of who will take places from fourth to 7th, intrigued to the last ... So, the results were as follows:

1. Arkaim

Ancient Aryan settlement in the steppes in the south of the Chelyabinsk region. Arkaim has a ring structure and is clearly oriented by stars. It is not known where and why the people living here left. Each year, Arkaim attracts tens of thousands of pilgrims: psychics, ufologists, esotericists, “contactees” and other extraordinary people. They consider Arkaim the spiritual center of the Russian Federation. And all in one voice assure the unusualness and power of local energy.

2. Dyatlov Pass

In the winter of 1959, on a slope of the Kholat Syakhyl mountain (in the very north of the Sverdlovsk Region), a group of nine experienced tourists died under mysterious circumstances. The investigating detective concluded that "the cause of the death of the tourists was a spontaneous force, which they were unable to overcome." However, what kind of "force" made the tourists cut the tent and in light things to run down the slope for certain death from frost ?! The mystery of their death to this day excites the minds of scientists. Until now, there has not been a single hypothesis that 100 percent would explain all the ambiguities of this tragedy.

3. M-sky triangle

It has become widely known throughout the world since 1989. This is the 1st anomalous zone in Russia, which stirred up the whole nation in those days. In those years, they often encountered the widest range of anomalous phenomena: from UFOs and plasmoids to bigfoot. Until now, many people from all over the country seek this non-standard place. However, he most of all admits that in our days abnormal phenomena here, if they have not fallen aside, then they have become isolated.

4. Nevyansk inclined tower

It is located in the "mountain nest" of the Demidov breeders - the city of Nevyansk. Like the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, our tower is also sloping. However, in addition, the tower is surrounded by numerous historical secrets. Neither the exact date of construction, nor the name of the architect is known. The purpose of the so-called “sound room” is also incomprehensible. If you stand in one of its corners, you can clearly hear the slightest whisper from the other side of the room. It is reliably well known that around the tower there was a network of secret underground passages. The myth that the First Demidov secretly melted silver in the dungeon under the tower is widely known (the fact of secret melting of silver is documented). Subsequently, this room was supposedly flooded with the workers, so as to “cover up the tracks”.

5. Places of Bazhov's tales

Not bad described in the tales of the Soviet writer Pavel Bazhov. Located in the vicinity of Polevsky and Sysert. These places are very popular among tourists: first of all, it is Azov Mountain, Dumnaya Mountain, Markov Stone and so on. According to legends on the Azov misfortune, a treasure cave is hidden. Sometimes at night on the Azov misfortune see mysterious lights - "candles". There are legends about visions nearby of the mountain of spirit of a girl - Azovka. Here it is possible to get lost in well-known places, and in the vicinity of Zyuzelka even nowadays blue fogs sometimes appear ...

6. Taganay

National park and mountain range in the Chelyabinsk region near the city of Zlatoust. In previous centuries, these places were chosen by the Old Believers. Here they lived in their hermitages, and immediately carried out their rituals. From time to time, they see UFOs, energy balls, ball lightning, and light poles of an unknown nature. They even talk about a bigfoot and a certain Kialim grandmother. Most of the phenomena are explained by the peculiarities of electromagnetic radiation from numerous tectonic faults.

7. Ural dolmens

This is perhaps the youngest Ural mystery from the above. The problem of dolmens in the Urals began to be widely discussed only a few years ago. Well-known dolmens to the north of Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma, and in the Southern Urals. It is still not clear at what time our ancestors erected them and for what purposes.
